Synopsis

Brazil’s ultimate frontier, the Amazon is a country in itself with its 2 very different cities: Belem and the colonial splendor of its facades, and Manaus and its legendary opera house.

Because of the climate and the punishing humidity, building a house in the Amazon that can last is an architectural challenge. This is why it is so important to preserve and reinvent the traditional indigenous methods of construction.
