Synopsis

The small port of Taiohae on the island of Nuku Hiva, in the Marquesas archipelago, is a showcase of local life and the link between the inhabitants and the ocean.

Day or night, there is always something going on. The local fishermen say it themselves; this quay is their whole life. It is where they live, sleep and work.
