Synopsis
In the 21st century, the life of a migratory reindeer is no picnic.
On the tundra, lichen is becoming scarce. On the edge of the Arctic Ocean, urbanization is depriving the reindeer of their traditional pastures. Around the weakened herds, wolves, bears, wolverines, and other predators are on the prowl. Worse still, the heat is changing the sex ratio of the herds: too many females are now being born.
Yet, a long time ago, the reindeer survived the climatic changes that wipe out the mammoth, its contemporary.
