Synopsis

In Dakar, Sophie meets Eloi, curator of the slave house, who talks about the importance of the duty of remembrance, of which the island of Gorée is the symbol throughout the world. Even today, it is from this past that Senegalese artists draw some of their inspiration.

The Dakar region is also endowed with exceptional natural beauties like the Retba lake, a geological wonder. It contains 10 times more salt than the sea and its surface is pink.
