Synopsis

It is a strip of land nestled between two giants and one of the most spiritual places on earth. The Kathmandu valley shelters the most vibrant Buddhist shrines and Hindu traditions.

In a lost rural village made of earthen houses, Sophie is invited in a Brahmanic family, the highest Hindu caste and the most religious. She learns to throw rice, flowers, and barley to alleviate the world's suffering. Embraced by all Brahmin women, Sophie, very much a cartesian, is overwhelmed by emotion.
