Synopsis

The Zhuang, reputed to be among the oldest farmers in the world, live in the mountainous region of Guangxi, on the border with Vietnam.

Between bamboo forests and rice fields, Sophie discovers an ancestral way of life. The village, all made of wood, is only accessible by foot or donkey.
