The Caribbean archipelago opened to foreigners in 1994, under the impetus of Fidel Castro. In 2016, it recorded a record attendance rate of 4 million visitors. A new financial windfall that the State intends to preserve. It has to face the vagaries of the weather, which the country is suffering from. Cuba is on the cyclones path: Sandy in 2012, Matthew in 2016, and regularly, winds of extreme violence and torrential rains fall on the country. Thanks to the efficient and reasoned system put in place, each time, the human balance is almost zero.
