CHILE, BETTER LATE THAN NEVER
An episode from the series EARTH ON EDGE
Chile is a multi-color and a multi-landscape country, with its colonial legacy of Valparaiso, the heat of the desert of Atacama or the buildings of Santiago, the capital. However, the country is settled on an unstable territory between two tectonic plates: violent earthquakes - often followed by tsunamis - occur about every ten years. It’s only after the drama of 2010 that Chile decided to invest in campaigns of awareness and studies in order to know how to prevent this phenomenon.
