Synopsis

4 million tourists, who mostly come from North America or Europe, visit Dominican Republic every year. The government wants to double the country’s capacity from now to 2020. Yet this goal might be threatened by the earthquakes. A huge tremor like in Haiti in 2010 could happen in Santo Domingo, located 300 km away.With these earthquakes, tsunamis are threatening to strike on those postcard landscapes. Can Dominican Republic meet the challenge?
