At dawn, on the 11th day of the XX Olympic Games in Munich, in 1972, 8 Palestinians of the terrorist group Black September climb over the fence surrounding the Olympic village. They head towards the Israeli team’s quarter. What happens thereafter is history: eleven Israeli athletes, one German policeman and five terrorists die in a bloodbath. The Munich massacre not only shocks the whole world but also launches a new era of international terrorism.
This intense and gripping film provides entirely new perspectives and insights into this traumatizing event with never-before-seen footage of the victims and of the negotiations with the terrorists.
