Synopsis
On that day in 1998, when he dived into Norwegian waters to observe orcas for the first time, Pierre Robert de Latour knew that his life would never be the same again.
A few days before this almost mystical encounter, orcas had come very close while scouting for an underwater hunting competition. He didn’t see them, but his colleagues had been frightened by these sea monsters. These large marine mammals, which can grow up to 9 meters long and weigh 11 tons, have a reputation for being dangerous to humans.
However, Pierre Robert de Latour maintains that orcas in their natural environment are not a threat to humans.
